WSB is one of Atlanta’s commercial AM radio stations. It serves as the flagship station of the Cox Media Group. This group also controls the local NBC TV networks and ABC television networks. Since the 1940s, WSB was the home of the "Atlanta Braves," the name of the local Major League Baseball player, and the University of Georgia Bulldogs Radio Network.
